Connects between spark plug and ignition lead to give a clear indication of ignition system function. Modern coil packs give out such a high voltage it can be dangerous to test by holding the spark plug against the engine block. This tester provides a safe way to establish if the ignition system is working. Easily replaceable test bulb. Tool lights up to show that the ignition system is working. Works on all ignition systems except NGK type F HT cap and matching spark plug. Can be used on individual spark plugs or if you have an 'all in one' coil pack that sits directly on all cylinders you can use 4 testers to demount the coil pack and test all the spark plugs all at the same time.
